Sladen is a large Victorian family home with a grand sweeping staircase and plenty of original features. It is a fabulous house in which to spend special time with family and friends. All ages can relax, laugh, catch up and most of all have some fun together!

Sladden House Summer 2007

The focus of the house is the huge kitchen/dining room with conservatory - a great room for a party, where all guests can spread out, eat together, dance and play!

The sitting room is a peaceful haven, somewhere to relax in front of a roaring fire. The views from the huge sash windows are spectacular and sipping coffee in the conservatory in the morning sun is a must.

Upstairs there are 7 large bedrooms on two floors - sleeping up to 16 adults with 2 additional children.

Sladden House inside

There are a few old TVs and basic music equipment around the house but rather than watch TV we invite you to indulge in perhaps life's greatest luxury of all - time. Time spent catching up with friends and family or simply time to yourself.

We can arrange to cater for you, relinquishing you of that everyday chore. Perhaps you may indulge in a visiting beauty therapist or for the more adventurous try your hand at clay pigeon shooting or just walking from the door amongst some of the country's most beautiful scenery.

Outside

Outside there is a large garden with new tree-house - an alternative venue for sundowners!

Sladden House - Treehouse

Please note that the treehouse presents an obvious danger for children. Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult whilst on or in this structure. The owners will not be liable for any injury sustained whilst using it.

The garden is mainly laid to lawn and the drive is flat. There is space for at least 8 cars. There is a BBQ & garden furniture.
